I’ve been thinking a lot about the future lately.

Mostly, I’m thinking about my goals, the biggest one (and probably the farthest out) is to buy house. I started saving when I was 20, living frugally (like a good Vermonter) and socking my money away. And then there is the matter of where. Whenever fall comes around, I think of the movie Practical Magic and how New England-y it is. It makes me ache for those five states and (cheese alert) the way they feel.

So I want to go to Maine. Coastal, New England-y Maine. I want to walk down this street during the crisp fall and just breathe in the sea air and wear my L.L. Bean cable-knit sweater :)

So there we go. Goals.
